On Friday 9 November 2018, the school and the P&C gardening committee celebrated the official opening of Imaginature.
All students from kindy to year 6 attended the ceremony, which included entertainment provided by the year 6 drumming group, the mask parade which debuted at the 2018 Ellis House Student Art Exhibition opening, and the junior and senior choirs.

Teacher Mrs Margaret Wilson and some of the years 1, 2 and 5 students also spoke about their integrated inquiry into improving wildlife habitat in Imaginature, a project they are undertaking with the assistance of Cathy Levett from EMRC (and author of “Westy the Western Swamp Tortoise”).
Imaginature was then officially opened with a ribbon cutting!
Acknowledgements
Beyond a shadow of a doubt, Imaginature could not have been developed without the involvement of a huge body of hard working Bayswater Primary School parents, teachers and students. This includes the many, many parents who diligently came to all-school busy bees (year in, year out) and provided so much invaluable labour, experience and skills.
